The Studio

Two co-founders. One conversation.

Two disciplines, one promise. The co-founders do the work.

Marco Pizarro de Olazábal — service designer, systems thinker, and co-founder of The Logic Atelier. Where the practice begins with architecture, it begins just as much with the business: the problem behind the brief, who it touches, and the shape of the opportunity once it is made visible.

Origin & Philosophy

The Logic Atelier was never intended to be an agency. It emerged from a shared conviction: that the most enduring digital work happens when engineering rigour meets genuine design sensibility, not as separate disciplines, but as a single, unified practice.

Every commission begins in two places at once. The architecture asks what needs to be built to endure. The business asks who it must serve and what success actually looks like. For the co-founders, this is not a methodology. It is simply how they think.

Keeping the practice small, deliberate, and personally invested is a choice, not a constraint. It is a conscious rejection of the scale-first mentality. Every engagement is a chosen collaboration, not a pipeline entry.

Systems Over Projects

Projects end. Systems endure. The Logic Atelier specialises in building digital foundations that outlast their original brief: design systems, component architectures, and AI-integrated platforms designed to evolve rather than be replaced.

The practice spans frontend architecture, design system governance, AI product engineering, and service design. Every one of these disciplines faces the same core challenge: building the interface between complex systems and the people who rely on them.

This is not about chasing tools or frameworks. It is about understanding which abstractions endure and which are passing fashion, then building accordingly.

Enterprise & AI Foundations

The co-founders bring sixteen years of complementary enterprise depth. Abhijit's background spans global pharmaceutical retail, national financial institutions, investment management, and government departments. These were systems adopted across 27+ applications, where reliability was measured in regulatory exposure and millions in daily transactions. Marco brings a decade of service design at the human boundary of complex systems, across global hospitality, European sports sustainability, insurance, and technology.

Together, this background shaped a particular approach to intelligent systems. Not novelties or marketing layers, but engineering disciplines that must answer a harder question: will people actually use this? Enterprise-grade rigour, held to account by the discipline of adoption.

The result is work where innovation and reliability are not in tension. Systems built not to impress in demos, but to earn trust in production.
