My Philosophy
I started The Logic Atelier from a simple belief: the best digital products aren’t just beautiful. They are thoughtfully engineered. I work at the intersection of logic and craft. Like a traditional atelier, my work is deliberate and precise. I treat software not as a commodity, but as a designed object built to last.
Origin & Philosophy
The Logic Atelier is my practice, and it was never meant to be an agency. It rests on one conviction: lasting digital work happens when engineering rigour and design sense live in the same head, not as separate disciplines, but as a single practice.
Every commission begins in two places at once. The architecture asks what needs to be built to endure. The business asks who it must serve and what success actually looks like. That is not a method I apply. It is how I think.
I keep the practice small, deliberate, and personally invested by choice, not by constraint. It is a conscious rejection of the scale-first mentality. Every engagement is a chosen collaboration, not a pipeline entry.
Systems Over Projects
Projects end. Systems endure. I specialise in building digital foundations that outlast their original brief: design systems, component architectures, and AI-integrated platforms designed to evolve rather than be replaced.
My practice spans solution and cloud architecture, agentic AI and LLM orchestration, frontend and design-system architecture, and platform engineering. Every one of these disciplines faces the same core challenge: building the interface between complex systems and the people who rely on them. Alongside the builds sits advisory work: technical due diligence, and fractional CTO support for early-stage founders.
This is not about chasing tools or frameworks. It is about understanding which abstractions endure and which are passing fashion, then building accordingly.
Enterprise & AI Foundations
I bring sixteen years of enterprise consulting and implementation, owning architecture end to end across applications, data, integration and cloud: an internal AI workflow platform for EY, Walgreens Boots Alliance through EY, Fidelity Investments in Ireland, a national government department, one of Ireland's largest retail banks, and technical due diligence for Roland Berger. In every engagement the advice and the build went together, on systems where reliability was measured in regulatory exposure.
That background shaped how I approach intelligent systems. Not novelties or marketing layers, but engineering disciplines that must answer a harder question: will people actually use this? Enterprise-grade rigour, held to account by the discipline of adoption.
The result is work where innovation and reliability are not in tension. Systems built not to impress in demos, but to earn trust in production.
